UCO’S TAYLOR HERNDON HEADED TO 2017 WINTER WORLD UNIVERSITY GAMES

When the 2017 Winter World University Games kick off next week in Kazakhstan, hockey fans can expect to see a Broncho on the ice.

The American Collegiate Hockey Association has announced that the University of Central Oklahoma Hockey team’s Taylor Herndon has been selected for the U.S. Men’s National University Team.

The 2017 Winter World University Games kick off January 29th and run through February 8th. The U.S. Men’s National University Team’s first bout of competition will come Monday, January 30th against Team Canada.

One of the biggest global winter multi-sports events for student-athletes, the Winter World University Games is an international competition held every two years in different cities. More than 2,500 individuals from more than 50 countries will compete in the event, which is organized by the International University Sports Federation.
